Real Estate Company Colliers Assists on Lease Agreement for 12,000-Square-Foot SUD Treatment Facility

The health care services group of Colliers (Nasdaq: CIGI) — a Toronto-based real estate services and investment management firm — has brokered a 10-year lease agreement for a lease a 1.25 acre residential facility in Riverside County, California. It will be used as a substance use disorder (SUD) treatment center.

Colliers will lease the facility to We Level Up (WLU), a Deerfield Beach, Florida-based SUD treatment provider with three drug and alcohol rehab locations in the Sunshine State. WLU’s new facility — which spans more than 12,000 square feet — consists of seven buildings and holds 36 beds.

Shane Harmon, a San Diego-based senior vice president of commercial real estate brokerage for Colliers, represented We Level Up’s California operations in the transaction. He focuses solely on behavioral health and working with operators to re-purpose inpatient and residential care facilities nationwide.

“WLU has an extensive network and would continue to refer patients to other providers in southern California that they couldn’t regionally service,” Harmon told Behavioral Health Business. “This new facility will now help WLU to better service their patients’ continuum of care directly.”

Along with operating in Southern California and its home state of Florida, WLU also has plans to open new facilities in Texas, Washington state, New Jersey and Maryland.
